2015,,,,,AN INTERESTING YEAR

Here we are again! We've been open nearly a week and already we are busy bees! We've been helped by some lovely sunny winter days and it been so nice to see so many old friends again and have so many people come from far afield to sample our home made fare. Thank you!


We've made a few changes whilst we've been closed. A new table layout to make it easier for the larger parties we are now getting......and a lovely new carpet. So........definitely NO MUDDY BOOTS PLEASE! We have a scrapper, overshoes or we don't mind socks! Bringing mud into the tearoom brings in muck and germs; not nice for anyone. So now that the weather is changing, please be considerate.


Our menu hasn't changed too much. We've had to add a penny or two here and there to reflect increased supplier costs, but the cake portions are still generous and we always have a range of specials to choose from. We only have to point out that there is a £1.60 minimum cover charge for anyone who just wants to sit and watch and not eat and drink anything! Sorry, but we are a small business.
